Pros and cons of mbDrive Lite - WiFi flash disk app for iPhone and iPad
mbDrive Lite - WiFi flash disk app good for
This app is perfect!! My email would not let me send large PDF files, this sorts out all of my issues!! LOVE IT!
I got it installed and running in under 5 minutes with the provided docs and was happily viewing PDF files.
Oh yeah, when done viewing a file simply double tap at the top of the screen to go back to the list of files.
Will look at buying the full app now.
i was able to connect and view the files... and could zoom in cool
As you know the iPod touch does not work like a external hardrive that you can put information on it put but with this app you can put information on it good app. Not the bed buy its good Enoch and it works for me.
I find that this app is good but when i tried putting a lot of stuff on it, it was very slow of putting it on. i dont know if its our internet or something like that but it was slow.
Worked for me. Be sure to type"http" not "afp" which defaults on your mac network browser.
Some bad moments
I put a picture on to test it, and when I opened it there was no way of going back. You have to exit the app. I was also hoping I would be able to use this on a wired connection as my school uses a combination of cisco systems and desktop authority and will not let me connect. Nice idea but full of flaws.
I dont know about you guys but mine couldnt connect to my computer, which was kind of annoying.
Would be a great app if it only worked. The server adress that it supplied would not connect to my macbook. Not sure if the full version fixes this but I still dont see why the free version wont work
Well, I cant say I dont like it as an aplication, becouse I cant even turn it on!!! When I press the icon aplication it turns on but in half of a second it turns of. :/
At home, no problem with having same WIFI: I might be copying files that I want to bring to work. But I dont have WIFI at work. Many do, many dont. This app wont work for me. Id like to know if theres an app that exists like this which does NOT have this "same Wifi" requirement. BTW, I dont think this app is designed to allow you to copy pics and videos taken with the iPhone, onto your PC. You need to think of of as a "dumb" USB drive: the app creates a specific amount of dedicated storage space on the iPhone which can be used to copy files to from a PC. The app does not "see" anything outside its storage domain.
Does not work at all, followed the instructions to the letter and nothing. The adress at the bottom of the mbdrive screen was not a valid address. When I tried to set it up on the network wizard per instructions it told me that the folder not valid. I tried to go to their support page but could not get in. I am not a rookie when it comes to computers.
